After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, the Iosco Christian Women leadership team has made the decision to ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ป.
Since the beginning, our desire has been to create opportunities for women across Iosco County to connect, grow in their faith, and encourage one another in Christ. We are deeply grateful for every woman who attended an event, served alongside us, prayed for this ministry, and helped make these gatherings possible.
This decision comes as our founding leader begins a full-time Chaplain Residency at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. Because of the significant time commitment this calling requires, we believe it is wise to pause the ministry rather than continue without the leadership and attention it deserves.
While we donโt know what the future holds, we remain thankful for all God has done through Iosco Christian Women and trust Him to guide what comes next in His perfect timing.

Our backstory.ย
We held our first event in March of 2024 and began rotating to different cities in Iosco County, meeting at different churches/locations, and getting to know so many new sisters and pastors in our area.ย ย
Women came together to worship.ย Women singing together — it’s beautiful and was definitely a highlight of the year.ย We purposefully focused on what we have in common in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our goal was never to replace women’s groups at churches but rather to create opportunities for women’s groups, and for women who do not feel a part of any group, to come together in Jesus’ name.ย ย
We want to thank all of the pastors who opened their churches and hearts to us.ย ย Thank you to the women who attended the events, especially those who carpooled and drove so far to encourage women from churches on the other side of Iosco.
