If you’re new to ICW, here’s our backstory. 

We held our first event in March of 2024 and began rotating to different cities in Iosco County, meeting at different churches/locations, and getting to know so many new sisters across the county.   

Women came together to worship.  Women singing together — it’s beautiful and was definitely a highlight of the year.  We purposefully focused on what we have in common in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our goal was never to replace women’s groups at churches but rather to create opportunities for women’s groups, and for women who do not feel a part of any group, to come together in Jesus’ name.  

We want to thank all of the pastors who opened their churches and hearts to us.   Thank you to the women who attended the events, especially those who carpooled and drove so far to encourage women from churches on the other side of Iosco. 

We’ve learned a lot and will be meeting in January to discern God’s will for 2025.  What we can say for now is that we won’t be meeting over the winter.  We don’t feel that it’s wise to have evening meetings in the winter months.  

We will be back in the spring!
